The interface unit shall provide four balanced analog microphone inputs on front-panel XLR connectors. Each input shall be equipped with P48 phantom power.  Each input gain, referenced to -20 dBFS = +4 dBu, shall be selectable to 40 dB, 48 dB or 62 dB. The gain settings shall be switch-selectable and non-volatile, accessible from the front panel. Inputs at maximum gain shall provide a noise floor better than 68 dB below operating level from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with equivalent input noise better than -127 dBu. Each input XLR jack shall provide a low-impedance path from the shield to the chassis. Each input shall have an impedance no less than 2.5 kOhms.  Crosstalk between any two input channels shall be below the noise floor at operating level from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The unit shall be constructed in a steel enclosure equipped for mounting to any flat surface and compatible with RDL SysFlex mounting accessories. Analog to digital conversion shall be performed at 24 bits with selectable sample rates of 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz or 96 kHz.  The unit shall operate from IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE power provided through the Ethernet cable.  The unit shall be covered by a 3 year factory warranty. The Dante interface shall be an RDL SF-XMN4.
