DD-BN31 The interface unit shall provide two balanced analog inputs on front-panel XLR connectors, one stereo unbalanced input on a front-panel Mini-jack, one stereo unbalanced output on a front-panel Mini-jack and two balanced analog outputs on a rear-panel detachable terminal block. Each balanced input shall be selectable as either a Mic or Line input and shall be equipped with selectable P48 phantom power. Each associated input gain, referenced to -20 dBFS = +4 dBu, shall be selectable for Mic sources to 40 dB, 48 dB or 62 dB; for Line sources to Unity, 8 dB or 19 dB. Inputs set to Mic shall, at maximum gain, provide a noise floor better than 68 dB below operating level from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with equivalent input noise better than -127 dBu. Each input XLR jack shall provide a shielded, full-metal body. The left and right channels of the stereo unbalanced input shall feed a separate Dante channel. A switch shall be provided to sum the two inputs. The left and right channels of the stereo unbalanced output shall be driven from a separate Dante channel. A switch shall be provided to feed both outputs from one Dante (left) channel. The gain, phantom voltage and mono sum settings shall be switch-selectable and non-volatile, accessible behind the cover plate with the unit mounted. Front-panel Decora plates shall be steel with optional factory-customizable graphics reverse printed on a protective polycarbonate laminate. The unit shall be constructed in a stainless steel enclosure. Each line output shall be switch-selectable for a balanced +4 dBu or a -10 dBV unbalanced nominal level. Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog conversion shall be performed at 24 bits with selectable sample rates of 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz. The unit shall operate from IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE power provided through the Ethernet cable. The unit shall be covered by a 3 year factory warranty. The Dante interface shall be an RDL DD-BN31.
