AMS-TS1 Illuminated Touch-Activated Pushbutton – Detachable terminal block connections The illuminated touch-activated pushbutton switch shall be an RDL AMS-TS1. The unit shall provide a detachable terminal block for control and power wiring connections, and one backlit touch-activated pushbutton switch for user control. The unit shall switch in one of three installer-selected modes: Toggle (touch on, touch off), Momentary (active while touched, otherwise inactive), or Pulse (125 mS active pulse upon each touch). By default, the center of the button shall illuminate green when the output is active, red when the output is inactive. Two open collector outputs shall be provided. One shall be pulled to ground when the module output is active. The other shall be pulled to ground when the module output is inactive. Each open-collector output shall be capable of driving loads up to 30 Vdc at current up to 25 mA. The illuminated button shall be controlled by one of two installer-selected modes: Internal (indicating unit output state) or External (external pull-to-ground to activate red or green LED). The threshold for external LED control shall be 2.5 Vdc for compatibility with logic sources from 3.3 Vdc to 30 Vdc. The unit shall measure no more than 2.3" (5.84 cm) deep behind the front panel and shall be compatible with RDL AMS mounting accessories. The unit shall be constructed to fit industry standard D-style cutouts. The unit shall be engineered, assembled and tested in the U.S.A. and be specified for continuous duty in professional installed systems. The unit shall be specified for operation in an ambient temperature between 0 and 50 degrees C. The unit shall be an RDL AMS-TS1.
