DB-RLC10K		Remote Level Control

The Remote Level Control shall be an RDL DB-RLC10K.  The unit shall provide a front-panel single-turn user knob to adjust the output voltage.  With 10 Vdc applied to the rear-panel input, the unit shall provide a dc output voltage that is linearly proportional to the position of the front-panel knob.  The output shall include capacitive filtering to suppress induced noise.  The resistive element shall be linear 10 kOhms nominal and shall be rated for long life.

The unit shall provide one rear-panel detachable terminal block, with three terminals for 10 Vdc input, output and a common ground.

The unit shall measure 1.31" (3.33 cm) W; 4.11" (10.44 cm) H; 1.8" (4.57 cm) D (including knob) and be mechanically compatible with Decora cover plates and North American electrical boxes.  The unit shall be constructed of powder coated formed steel. The front face of the unit shall provide graphical labels protected beneath a durable frosted plastic surface.

The unit shall be engineered, assembled and tested in the U.S.A. and be specified for continuous duty in professional installed systems. The unit shall be specified for operation in an ambient temperature between -10 and 55 degrees C. The unit shall comply with relevant EMC requirements and shall bear the CE marking.

The unit shall be an RDL DB-RLC10K.
